Welcome to my online portfolio for JB photography. I fell in love with photography many years ago as it was natural to me to document on goings. I would go to events and take pictures, mostly sporting events. I found a keen interest in outdoor sporting events. Not only document the athletes, I liked to take pictures of the audience. It was their interaction with the event that I liked to capture. This became my determined style of a documentary type of photography. I believe that working with portraiture is the with in this style, because you capture a moment that has only happened at that time. My nature photography falls into this category, weather is my concentration. With weather, it happens so fast, unpredictable and different every time. All together, my photography is to stop time for you to remember that moment.

I am a recent college graduate of Northern Michigan University, with a BFA in Photography. I have been working in Houghton, MI as a photographer at LadyBug Digital and I’m relocating to Northern Colorado, Denver-Fort Collins area to work independently. I focus on family portraiture with emphasis of working with children. I like that children have the most fun, and love to capture all the innocence. I also shoot weddings, with a high interest in fine art for the end result of the your photographs.  Event and commercial photography is my most interested format and I love working with food photography. Below this description is my pricing per event type. All photos I take will be given to customer in a printable format, non copyrighted for your use. Portraiture: $100 per hour, $80 per hour after the first hour. Travel fee will be added as needed outside of my 30 mile radius.

Wedding: $1500 includes - 8-10 hours of photography, wedding photo book up too 50 images.

Commercial and Event: $150 per hour, $100 per hour after the first hour. Travel fees will be added as needed outside of my 30 mile radius.
